MCNIG supports 3 scholarships:
The Maternal Child Nurses Interest Group (MCNIG) Scholarship, Masters Program will be awarded to a Registered Nurse enrolled in a Master’s program at a recognized university in Canada with a course or research project/thesis in maternal/child or neonatal nursing within the hospital or community setting. Applicants must be members of MCNIG and not a recipient of this scholarship within the past 3 years.
The Maternal Child Nurses Interest Group (MCNIG) Scholarship – Doctorate Program will be awarded to a Registered Nurse enrolled in a Doctorate program at a recognized university in Canada with a course or research project/thesis in maternal/child or neonatal nursing within the hospital or community setting. Applicants must be members of MCNIG and not a recipient of this scholarship within the past 3 years.
The Maternal Child Nurses Interest Group (MCNIG) Scholarship – Nurse Practitioner Program will be awarded to a Registered Nurse enrolled in a Nurse Practitioner/Primary Health Care Nursing graduate program in Canada with a focus in maternal/child or neonatal nursing within the hospital or community setting. Applicants must be members of MCNIG and not a recipient of this scholarship within the past 3 years.
